During a crisis, a leader may intervene strategically by articulating a new vision of the future to help the organization to reduce or optimize their operating expenses by utilizing Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma techniques. This includes the deployment of Six Sigma White Belts, Yellow Belts, Green Belts and Black Belts. Most important is the formation of Lean Six Sigma Champions to drive the initiative.
