MBIZM ANNOUNCES THE FIRST SUCCESSFUL IASSC LEAN SIX SIGMA GREEN BELT CANDIDATE IN MALAYSIA

MBizM, the organisation providing training and consultancy services in Lean and Six Sigma related programmes is pleased to announce the first successful candidate of the International Association for Six Sigma Certification (IASSC) examination held in Malaysia.

MBizM would like to extend congratulations to Ms. Hor Phaik Shian of Selangor, Malaysia, for attaining the IASSC Six Sigma Green Belt designation. Ms. Hor was the first applicant to pass the IASSC Green Belt Examination. Ms. Hor is also a Senior Finance Executive currently works for Monash University Sunway Campus, Malaysia.

The IASSC Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) is a professional certification for individuals to master Lean Six Sigma Methodology who will lead and support improvement projects. A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt possesses a thorough understanding of all aspects within the phases of D-M-A-I-C. They understand how to perform and interpret Six Sigma tools and how to use standard principles of Lean. “This is an exciting time within MBizM in that we have successfully launched the IASSC examinations, which is our newest credential,” stated Dr. Satnam Singh, Managing Director of MBizM Sdn Bhd. “We have worked closely with Peoplecert Group who has a multi-year strategic partnership with IASSC designed to expand the global reach of the only independent third-party certification available within the Lean Six Sigma industry,” stated Mr. Harbans Singh, CEO of MBizM Sdn Bhd.

The IASSC Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) Exam is a 3 hour 100 question proctored exam based on the IASSC Universally Accepted Lean Six Sigma Body of Knowledge for Green Belts. MBizM has set minimum requirements to qualify for the IASSC Examination in which for those who wish to sit for the exam it is recommended that Lean Six Sigma training is obtained through a qualified institution, it is also recommended, that those sitting for the exam have some degree of real-world work experience and project application experience.
